Recent polls ahead of Quebec's October 5 election show the Parti Québécois leading with roughly 30% support, followed closely by the Liberals and CAQ tied near 23%, with the Conservatives rising toward 16% and QS trailing further behind. This positioning leaves third place highly competitive among the CAQ, Conservatives, and Liberals, as regional strengths—such as Conservative gains in the Quebec City area and Liberal dominance among anglophones and allophones—create uncertainty in overall vote shares. Late-August polling shifts, including CAQ gains at QS expense and ongoing consolidation among federalist voters, have kept the contenders bunched together without a clear separator. The official campaign launch and any further movement in francophone support or economic issues could quickly alter the ordering among these three parties.
