Molly Gray holds a strong lead in trader consensus for the November 2026 Vermont lieutenant governor race, reflecting her prior service in the office from 2021 to 2023, name recognition, and decisive August primary victory over two Democratic challengers. Incumbent Republican John Rodgers, who captured the seat in 2024 with 48.8% amid a narrow upset, faces structural headwinds in a state where Democrats have dominated most statewide contests. Vermont’s electorate, combined with Gray’s focus on housing, healthcare, and state-federal tensions, underpins the implied probability gap. Limited post-primary polling and the absence of major campaign developments since the August primaries leave room for shifts based on turnout, endorsements, or late-cycle dynamics ahead of Election Day.
