Incumbent Republican Nick Begich holds the Alaska at-large House seat after defeating Democrat Mary Peltola in 2024 under ranked-choice voting. Peltola has since entered the 2026 Senate race against incumbent Dan Sullivan, leaving Democrats without a prominent candidate after Rev. Matt Schultz ended his bid in July. Recent Alaska Survey Research polling shows Begich leading potential challengers by double digits ahead of the August 18 top-four primary. Forecasters rate the general election as likely Republican, consistent with the state's partisan lean and limited Democratic field. An independent challenger, Bill Hill, has drawn some attention but faces structural headwinds in a contest where Republicans hold the edge in voter registration and recent statewide results. Trader consensus on Republican victory reflects these candidate and polling dynamics.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
