Israel’s commanding position in the Eurovision 2026 first semi-final winner market stems from its strong televote appeal and polished performance of “Michelle” on May 12 in Vienna, where it secured qualification alongside fan favorites. Moldova’s rapid climb reflects the infectious energy of Satoshi’s folk-rap entry “Viva, Moldova!,” which delivered an unexpected surge in public voting momentum. Finland’s violin-driven “Liekinheitin” maintained solid support as the pre-show bookies’ pick, though recent audience reactions suggest a slight cooling. These three entries benefited from standout stage presence and cultural resonance that historically sway combined jury and televote tallies, while lower-probability contenders like Croatia and Greece face stiffer competition from broader field dynamics ahead of the grand final.
