This market will resolve to the country whose candidate for Eurovision 2026 places second in the final. If no second place country is announced by July 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve "Other". All ties will be broken according to EBU's official Eurovision rules. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Eurovision (https://eurovision.tv/), including live footage of Eurovision 2026, however a consensus of credible reporting will suffice.Finland's Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen's "Liekinheitin," featuring live violin and dynamic staging, leads trader consensus for Eurovision 2026 runner-up at 26.5% implied probability after topping Semi-Final 1 results and impressing in rehearsals, where bookmakers pegged them as overall frontrunners. Australia's Delta Goodrem follows tightly at 24% with "Eclipse," leveraging her pop pedigree and emotional ballad appeal that surged post-rehearsals. Israel's Noam Bettan (19.3%) and Greece's Akylas with "Ferto" (16%) round out the cluster, driven by powerhouse vocals and cultural hooks but vulnerable to jury-televote splits seen in past contests. With the Vienna grand final on May 16, running order—favoring Finland's position—and live performances will decide momentum in this razor-thin race among strong qualifiers.
