**The tight but consolidating contest between Republican nominee Rick Jackson and Democratic nominee Keisha Lance Bottoms drives the high 89% implied probability for an outright first-round winner.** Recent September polling, including Rasmussen Reports showing Jackson at 48% to Bottoms’ 45% with 7% undecided or other, reflects a low third-party presence and strong partisan consolidation typical of Georgia’s two-candidate general elections. Historical patterns in the state’s gubernatorial races further support that the eventual leader reaches a majority once undecided voters break. With the November 3 election approaching and no major late developments fracturing the field, traders assess the risk of a runoff as limited despite the overall tossup nature of the race.
