Marcos Castro Fabra faces Manel Lazaro Juncadella in the round of 32 at the M25 Martos on hard courts, where Lazaro Juncadella enters with a clear ranking advantage around the low 1,500s compared to Castro Fabra’s position near 1,880. Both Spaniards bring limited ATP-level experience, making baseline consistency, serve reliability, and adaptation to the surface key variables in what projects as a competitive early-round encounter. Lazaro Juncadella’s higher career-high ranking and recent ITF activity provide a modest edge in match toughness, while Castro Fabra will look to leverage any local familiarity or aggressive baseline play to extend rallies. No major injury reports or withdrawals have altered the field, leaving the outcome dependent on current form and execution under the pressure of a direct-elimination draw.
