Ju Wenjun holds the edge in trader consensus for the Norway Chess Women 2026 title, driven by her status as the reigning five-time Women's World Champion and consistent classical form heading into the double round-robin event in Oslo. Her FIDE rating near 2559 places her among the highest-rated participants, reflecting strong recent performances including back-to-back Women's Speed Chess Championship wins. Zhu Jiner's rapid climb to world number four, with a debut in this elite field, supports her position as a primary challenger alongside Bibisara Assaubayeva's aggressive style and Divya Deshmukh's emerging talent. Defending champion Anna Muzychuk and veteran Humpy Koneru add depth through experience, yet the market pricing highlights Ju's sustained consistency as the key differentiator in this competitive six-player lineup.
