**Trader consensus heavily favors the "Under" outcome at 95.5% implied probability because the specific Pikachu ex variant from the Ascended Heroes set is currently trading near $1,049 on secondary markets as of late September 2026, with stable collector demand and no major release or hype event scheduled before the September 30 close.** Recent TCG price tracking shows modest downward pressure across comparable ex and illustration rares amid broader market normalization after earlier 2026 spikes, keeping this card's trajectory flat or slightly soft. Historical patterns for mid-tier chase cards in the $800–$1,200 range indicate limited short-term volatility absent a sudden surge in graded sales or social media-driven collector interest. A realistic upset scenario would require an unexpected late-month buying wave—perhaps tied to tournament play or a high-profile auction flip—that pushes the tracked market price above the $1,059.87 threshold before the cutoff, though current liquidity and sentiment make that outcome unlikely.
