The 28-year-old Argentine has compiled an impressive 19-8 record in 2026, demonstrating consistent baseline control and reliability in best-of-three matches. Barbara Straszewska, a 20-year-old Polish wildcard ranked outside the top 1,100, brings limited professional experience at this level with a modest win-loss ledger and primarily lower-tier results. As a local player she may benefit from home support and familiarity with conditions, yet the significant gap in ranking, recent form, and match toughness favors Capurro Taborda heavily in what projects as a lopsided opener.
