Many NFL offenses opened the 2026 season with explosive outputs that tied the Super Bowl-era Week 1 scoring record, including the Bears’ 59-point outburst and strong showings from the Ravens, Bills, and Jaguars. Week 2 features a slate of matchups with multiple high-powered attacks facing defenses that allowed big numbers in Week 1, such as the Bears against the Vikings, Lions at the Bills, and Cowboys hosting the Commanders. The tight clustering of implied probabilities around 25% for a dozen teams reflects this broad distribution of favorable situations, combined with variables like short weeks, divisional rivalries, and the inherent week-to-week volatility of scoring. No single squad has pulled away in trader consensus because several offenses possess the weapons and recent momentum to post the week’s highest total depending on game script and defensive adjustments.
