Shakira’s dual nominations in the fan-voted Best Latin category create the clearest momentum for the 2026 VMAs, with “Choka Choka” alongside Anitta at 38.5% and “Dai Dai” with Burna Boy at 34.5% leading trader consensus. Both tracks benefit from Shakira’s global crossover appeal and recent promotional visibility, while Bad Bunny’s “Nuevayol” sits at 17% on star power alone. Rosalía’s “La Perla,” Fuerza Regida’s “Tu Sancho,” and Karol G’s “Papasito” trail at single digits, reflecting narrower streaming trajectories and less broad voter engagement. With voting closing September 25 ahead of the September 27 ceremony, late surges in social media or streaming spikes could still shift the tight frontrunner dynamic.
