Steve Hilton holds the leading position in this Fresno County-specific market due to the Central Valley county’s established Republican lean in statewide contests and his strong primary performance there, where he captured over 35 percent. Endorsements from local GOP organizations and alignment with voter priorities on taxes, housing costs, and agriculture have reinforced his edge heading into the November general election against Xavier Becerra. Becerra’s support remains more concentrated in urban coastal regions, limiting his projected share in this inland area. Trader pricing reflects these demographic and historical patterns, with limited recent shifts in the two-candidate matchup as the campaign focuses on turnout and regional messaging.
