National Weather Service and private model consensus currently projects a high near 100°F for Dallas on September 19 under a strengthening mid-level ridge, mostly sunny skies, and south-southwest winds of 5–10 mph that favor deep mixing and minimal cloud cover. This setup supports temperatures well above the late-September climatological average of roughly 89°F, with dew points in the low-to-mid 60s limiting moisture and keeping conditions hot and dry. Recent model runs show little day-to-day shift, though slight variations in boundary-layer mixing or exact wind speeds could trim the peak into the upper 90s. Market-implied odds cluster on 96–99°F ranges because traders weigh these stable, high-confidence forecasts against the narrow uncertainty bands typical of short-range guidance this close to the event.
