Latest National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model consensus indicate a high temperature near 98–100°F in Dallas on September 17 under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with light southerly flow. Persistent late-summer warmth, elevated dew points, and strong solar heating support readings well above the 1991–2020 climatological average of 89°F, though slightly below recent days near 100°F. Heat indices may exceed 105°F, but official maximum readings depend on afternoon cloud cover and any subtle steering changes. Trader consensus, with 98–99°F at 63% implied probability and 100–101°F at 25%, reflects this narrow forecast range and the limited time for significant model shifts before daily resolution.
