Recent National Weather Service and private forecasts indicate sunny conditions with northerly flow will support a high near 74°F in Seattle on September 17, aligning with the market’s leading 74-75°F bin at 50.5% implied probability. Model consensus points to clear skies and light winds, limiting afternoon mixing and allowing temperatures to reach the mid-70s under strong September insolation. This outcome sits modestly above the 1991-2020 climatological average high of roughly 70°F for the date. With resolution imminent, traders are weighting the latest deterministic and ensemble runs that show minimal spread around these values, though minor shifts in wind direction or boundary-layer moisture could still nudge the official reading into the adjacent 76-77°F range.
