Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance point to a highest temperature in Denver on September 16 in the low-to-mid 80s°F, aligning with the market's tight clustering around 80–83°F outcomes. A building ridge and southerly flow are expected to support modest warming above the 79°F historical average, while increasing afternoon cloud cover and a 20–30% chance of showers or thunderstorms introduce cooling potential that caps upside risk. Model consensus remains moderate due to variable steering winds and boundary-layer moisture, with official updates from the Denver-Boulder NWS office and next model runs likely to refine peak timing and convective impacts before resolution.
