**Latest National Weather Service forecasts for September 10 position 86-87°F as the leading outcome, with Central Park, LaGuardia, and Kennedy Airport projections centering on a daytime high of 86-87°F under partly cloudy skies.** Southwest winds and moderate humidity support peak temperatures in this range, consistent with model consensus showing limited cooling from any morning shower activity. This exceeds the 1991-2020 climatological average high of roughly 78°F, reflecting warmer-than-normal early September conditions. Traders appear to weigh the tight clustering of official guidance around the upper 80s against minor uncertainties in exact timing of cloud cover or localized heating, keeping 88-89°F as a secondary possibility while lower bins receive less weight. Updated NWS briefings and next model runs will provide further clarity ahead of resolution.
