Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a mostly sunny to partly cloudy day with light northerly winds, supporting a high near 75–76°F in Seattle—above the early-September average of 72°F. This setup, with clear morning conditions and minimal cloud cover through peak heating hours, underpins the market’s heavy weighting toward 76–79°F outcomes. Official forecasts show no significant marine layer intrusion or onshore flow that would cap temperatures lower, while historical records confirm September highs in the upper 70s are plausible but not extreme. Traders appear to be pricing modest upside from current observations and ensemble consensus ahead of afternoon verification.
