Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a high of 30–32°C in Shenzhen on September 6 amid scattered thunderstorms and high humidity, aligning with the market’s dispersed odds centered on 31°C. Persistent cloud cover and precipitation from regional monsoon influences are limiting daytime heating and introducing variability in peak readings, while typical early-September climatology features averages near 31°C. Key variables include storm timing and intensity, which could suppress maxima below 30°C if widespread, versus clearer intervals allowing brief rises to 32–33°C. Updated numerical weather prediction runs and official observations from Chinese meteorological agencies over the next 48 hours will refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
