Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Denver indicate a clear night with a low near 57°F following a sunny 83°F day on September 9, 2026, while other models project 53–60°F amid light northeast winds and dry air. This range reflects uncertainty in radiational cooling rates at 5,280 feet elevation, where clear skies and calm conditions promote efficient heat loss from the surface, but minor variations in cloud cover or wind could shift the minimum by several degrees. Trader sentiment clusters tightly around the 54–61°F bins because official guidance and ensemble outputs show comparable probabilities within that window, consistent with early September climatology where average lows hover near 52°F. New hourly observations through dawn will resolve the exact minimum against NWS criteria.
