Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other sources indicate an overnight low near 58°F for San Francisco on September 20 under mostly cloudy skies and moderate westerly winds, driving the 51% market-implied probability for the 58-59°F bin. Persistent marine influence and cloud cover are limiting radiative cooling, keeping temperatures above the long-term average low of 55.8°F while aligning closely with recent nightly readings in the upper 50s. The 20% odds on 56-57°F and 23% on 60-61°F reflect minor model spread and typical microclimate variability across observation sites. No significant shifts in steering patterns or moisture are expected before resolution, though final NWS verification data will determine the exact outcome.
