Christina Hines leads in the Michigan 10th District House race as an open seat following incumbent John James’s decision to run for governor. Traders price her at 65.5 percent to Republican Mike Bouchard’s 32.5 percent, reflecting the district’s competitive profile across Macomb and Oakland counties and a single late-August poll showing a statistical tie. Hines secured the Democratic nomination in August after emphasizing her background as a special victims prosecutor and working mother, while Bouchard won the Republican primary decisively with former President Trump’s endorsement. Limited polling, modest Democratic generic ballot advantages in the district, and recent campaign advertising by Hines have supported the current market consensus ahead of the November 3 general election.
