Traders are weighing this momentum against elevated 2026 capital expenditures now guided at $190 billion, driven by memory costs, and the revised OpenAI partnership that caps revenue sharing. Shares have traded near $410–$422 in mid-May amid broader tech volatility and a 13% year-to-date decline from 2025 highs near $555. Analyst consensus targets cluster around $590, reflecting expectations for sustained double-digit earnings expansion, though near-term resolution of the May 2026 price range hinges on cloud demand trends and any macro shifts in interest-rate expectations.
