Recent National Weather Service and local model guidance for Denver on September 23 centers on a high near 78°F under partly to mostly cloudy skies with a modest chance of afternoon thunderstorms. This keeps the 78-79°F and 76-77°F bins nearly tied as the market leaders, reflecting the narrow uncertainty band typical of short-range temperature forecasts. Cloud cover, timing of any showers, and boundary-layer mixing will determine whether readings top out in the mid- or upper-70s, while late-September climatology (average highs near 76°F) and current pattern provide the baseline. Fresh model runs and NWS updates over the next 24 hours will likely narrow the range ahead of resolution.
