Recent forecasts from METMalaysia and ensemble models position 33°C as the most probable daily maximum for Kuala Lumpur on September 21, reflecting typical late-September conditions near the equator where highs average 32–33°C amid high humidity and scattered convection. Afternoon cloud build-up and potential isolated showers are expected to cap extreme heating, reducing the likelihood of 35°C or higher while supporting a narrow 32–34°C window that aligns with current trader consensus. Model consensus shows limited spread, though steering patterns and local urban heat effects could nudge the peak by 1°C. Final resolution will depend on official Malaysian Meteorological Department observations at the primary reporting station.
