Official National Weather Service forecasts for New York City point to a Monday minimum in the low 60s°F, driven by northeast winds behind Sunday’s rain system and high pressure building in from the north. Model guidance shows daytime highs near 67–69°F under partly cloudy skies, with overnight radiational cooling limited by residual moisture and breezy conditions that could keep readings from dropping below 60°F. The tight clustering of market-implied odds around 60–63°F reflects trader focus on small differences in cloud cover, wind speed, and exact clearing timing, all of which influence how far temperatures fall before dawn on the 21st. Updated model runs and NWS briefings over the next 24 hours remain the key variables that could shift the lowest observed reading.
