**Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate a low near 57–58°F for San Francisco on September 21, 2026, driven by persistent marine layer influence and onshore westerly flow typical of mid-September.** This setup maintains overnight cloud cover and moderate humidity, preventing significant radiational cooling while keeping daytime highs in the mid-60s. The implied probability concentration around 58–59°F reflects model consensus on these conditions, with nearby bins (56–57°F and 60–61°F) capturing minor variations from forecast uncertainty or exact measurement timing at official stations. Historical averages place the date’s normal low at about 55.7°F, but recent patterns show slightly milder readings amid stable atmospheric conditions. No incoming troughs or offshore winds are expected to alter the range before resolution.
