Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate a high near 70–72°F for New York City on September 19, driven by cooler, drier air advecting southward behind a cold front that passed Friday. Northerly to northeasterly winds, reduced humidity, and partly cloudy skies are expected to limit daytime warming below the late-September climatological average of 75°F. Trader positioning, with 70–71°F holding the largest share of implied probability, reflects this model consensus while allowing for modest uncertainty in exact maximum readings tied to cloud timing and boundary-layer mixing. Updated model runs and official NWS briefings over the next 48 hours will refine the outcome range.
