Forecast models from multiple sources converge on a daily high near 28°C for Shanghai on September 17, driven by easterly flow, increasing cloud cover, and light rain chances that limit daytime heating. This positions the 28°C outcome as the market leader, with nearby 27°C and 29°C bins reflecting minor variations in model timing and local observations. Moderate humidity around 60-70% and winds of 3-5 m/s further temper extremes, consistent with late-summer climatology where highs average near 29°C but cool under marine influence. Updated runs through the evening of September 16 show no major shifts, keeping the distribution tightly clustered around the central forecast.
