**National Weather Service forecasts for San Francisco on September 17, 2026, indicate an overnight low in the upper 50s°F, with early-morning readings near 59–61°F under mostly cloudy skies and light southwest winds.** Marine-layer moisture and typical September coastal cooling are keeping temperatures from dropping sharply, consistent with historical averages of 55–58°F for the month’s overnight minima at official stations like San Francisco International Airport. No significant frontal systems or offshore flow are present to drive colder readings, while model consensus supports stabilization around 57–59°F. These conditions position the 56–59°F bins as scientifically favored outcomes, with trader-implied odds reflecting uncertainty around exact measurement timing and microclimate variations across the city.
