Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance point to an overnight low near 57–58°F for San Francisco on September 18, driven by a persistent marine layer, light westerly onshore flow, and patchy fog that limits radiative cooling. This aligns with the recent pattern of upper-50s minima at SFO and the September climatological average of 55.8°F. The 58–59°F bin leads trader consensus because most guidance clusters there, while the 56–57°F range captures downside risk from stronger marine influence or clearer skies. Warmer outcomes remain possible only with unexpected offshore flow or model error, but current data show low probability of deviation. Updated NWS briefings and morning observations will refine resolution near the daily minimum.
