Recent forecasts from multiple models point to clearing skies and northerly flow after showers on September 15, supporting a highest temperature near 72–74°F in Seattle on the 16th. High pressure building offshore promotes subsidence and reduced marine-layer influence, allowing greater daytime solar heating under mostly clear conditions with light northerly winds. This setup favors temperatures modestly above the 1991–2020 average high of 70.6°F, though model spread in boundary-layer moisture and exact wind direction keeps 70–71°F and 74–75°F ranges competitive in trader pricing. Official National Weather Service updates and next model cycles will clarify whether peak readings settle in the low or mid-70s.
