Recent return of the southwest monsoon (habagat) over western Luzon has increased cloud cover and scattered thunderstorm chances for Manila on September 21, moderating daytime heating and aligning with PAGASA’s 32°C forecast high alongside a 40% rain probability. Historical September averages near 31°C provide climatological context, while current model consensus and localized storm activity introduce variability that could cap peaks at 30–31°C or allow brief clearing to push toward 33°C. Market-implied odds reflect this uncertainty, with traders weighting official guidance and short-term forecast shifts ahead of the day’s resolution.
