Recent National Weather Service forecasts and supporting models highlight widespread showers and thunderstorms likely across Miami on September 23, with 60-90% precipitation chances and south winds around 5 mph. These conditions, typical of South Florida's late-September rainy season, increase cloud cover and evaporative cooling that cap daytime heating, favoring highs in the mid-80s over the upper 80s. The tight market-implied odds—36% for 86-87°F, 34.5% for 84-85°F, and 26.5% for 88-89°F—reflect trader consensus on this storm-driven moderation, with genuine uncertainty around exact timing and rainfall intensity that could shift the daily maximum by a degree or two. Updated model runs and NWS briefings in the next 48 hours will refine these probabilities.
