Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Latest National Weather Service forecasts project a minimum temperature near 68°F on September 23 under clear skies and light winds, supporting the market's tight clustering around mid-60s outcomes. Diurnal temperature ranges in Los Angeles during late September typically allow for 15-20°F drops from afternoon highs in the mid-80s, influenced by the urban heat island effect and proximity to the Pacific. Any marine layer intrusion or wind shifts could alter overnight cooling rates, though current model consensus favors minimal cloud cover. Updated forecasts expected from NWS as the date approaches.
