Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori enter the Rome Masters doubles semifinal as home favorites on clay after upsetting top seeds Heliovaara and Patten in the quarterfinals with a 7-5, 7-6(4) victory. The Italian pair has shown strong recent form on the surface, including a head-to-head win over Christian Harrison and Neal Skupski at the Miami Open earlier this year. As fourth seeds, Harrison and Skupski bring solid experience but must contend with the Foro Italico crowd and the Italians' familiarity with red-clay tactics, where return consistency and net play often decide tight sets. Both teams appear fully fit, with no reported injuries ahead of the best-of-three encounter.
