Zizou Bergs enters as the clear favorite against James McCabe in this Libema Open first-round grass-court matchup, reflecting his top-40 ranking and established ATP experience against McCabe’s lower-ranked status around 233. Bergs, with a career-high of 38 reached in May 2026 and recent appearances at Roland Garros, brings superior consistency and results on the tour. McCabe, a 22-year-old Australian, arrives after strong qualifying wins over Chak Lam Coleman Wong and Sander Jong but carries a modest 1-7 year-to-date record. No prior head-to-head exists, and the grass surface at ’s-Hertogenbosch favors players comfortable with quick points, though McCabe’s recent form provides limited upset potential in what traders view as a mismatch.
