Zsombor Piros, the No. 163-ranked fifth seed, enters the Zagreb Challenger first round on outdoor clay as clear trader consensus favorite against qualifier Jonas Forejtek (No. 286), driven by his unblemished 3-0 head-to-head edge—including a 7-6(6), 6-1 clay win in Prostejov Challenger last June. Piros's superior recent form (70% win rate over last 10 matches versus Forejtek's 40%) and higher ranking underscore his edge in this right-hander matchup, with both wielding two-handed backhands. No injuries or withdrawals reported ahead of the Court 6 clash, though outdoor conditions could introduce weather variables; Forejtek's qualifier momentum offers upset potential if Piros starts slowly.
