The 2026 NFL regular season is only in its opening weeks, leaving the interceptions leader market wide open among dozens of defensive backs. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with no player holding a meaningful statistical edge after limited action and many options clustered near similar implied probabilities. Veterans such as Kevin Byard, Marlon Humphrey, and Jaycee Horn carry modest edges from prior production and scheme fit, while younger corners like Derek Stingley Jr., Xavier McKinney, and Sauce Gardner benefit from favorable coverage roles and team pass defenses. Factors including snap counts, opponent passing volume, and injury recoveries will shape the race, but the early calendar and typical variance in turnover creation keep outcomes tightly bunched.
