Recent polls ahead of Quebec’s October 5 election show the Parti Québécois leading with roughly 30 percent support, while the Coalition Avenir Québec, Parti Libéral du Québec, and Parti Conservateur du Québec cluster closely behind in a fragmented field. Regional variations sustain the tightness: Liberals dominate Montreal, Conservatives gain ground in Quebec City and surrounding areas, and the CAQ remains competitive in suburban ridings. With no party consolidating the federalist or nationalist vote decisively, trader consensus prices reflect ongoing volatility in seat and vote-share projections. Campaign events, turnout among francophone and allophone voters, and any late shifts in three-way contests could quickly reorder the standings behind the PQ.
