Silver prices have traded near $64.50–$65.50 per ounce in mid-August 2026, supported by a sixth consecutive year of structural supply deficits and industrial demand that now accounts for roughly 59% of total offtake, driven by solar, electronics, EVs, and AI-related uses. Recent tame July CPI and PPI prints have reinforced market-implied odds of unchanged Fed policy in September, easing pressure on real yields and the dollar while providing a modest tailwind. Geopolitical developments in the Middle East and profit-taking after the prior month’s 12% rally have introduced short-term volatility. Traders will focus on any fresh U.S. data releases or central-bank commentary during the week of August 17 for signals on monetary policy and risk appetite.

If the relevant Pyth data is unavailable due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption that prevents verification of the required 1-minute candle data, the official daily high/low price published for the relevant CME COMEX futures contract for the underlying metal—COMEX Silver Futures (SI)—may be used to determine whether the listed price was reached during the applicable trading session.
