Vilius Gaubas holds a clear edge in this Roland Garros qualifying clash on clay, driven by his higher ATP ranking near 133 compared to Joao Lucas Reis da Silva’s position around 200. Gaubas has shown solid recent form in clay events, advancing through Madrid and Rome qualifiers while posting consistent results in Challengers. Reis da Silva, a Brazilian right-hander, has competed mainly at the Challenger level with mixed outcomes, including a final appearance earlier in 2026. Their head-to-head favors Gaubas heavily, including a victory on clay in May at the Oeiras Challenger. Both players favor baseline rallies suited to the slow French Open surface, though Gaubas’s greater experience against stronger opposition shapes the current market consensus around the Lithuanian’s advantage.
