Maxim Mrva, the 18-year-old Czech prospect ranked 312, faces higher-ranked Chun-Hsin Tseng (245) in the second round of the Bratislava Challenger. Mrva has shown flashes in recent Challenger events, including a victory in Prostejov, while benefiting from proximity to the Slovak venue and potential home support. Tseng brings greater experience and a career-high ranking of 83 but enters with limited recent wins and a 0-1 record in 2026. Their first meeting pits Tseng’s consistency against Mrva’s emerging game on what is typically a competitive surface for both. Recent form and physical freshness will likely shape the outcome in this early-round clash.
