The Toronto Blue Jays (19-24) visit the Detroit Tigers (19-24) at Comerica Park in a matchup of sub-.500 AL squads seeking momentum, with Toronto aiming to snap a four-game road losing streak after going 3-7 in their last 10. Probable starters Trey Yesavage (1-1, 0.68 ERA for TOR) and rookie Brenan Hanifee (0-0 for DET) highlight a depleted rotations battle, as both teams grapple with pitching injuries—Blue Jays missing Max Scherzer (forearm tendinitis, recent cortisone shot) and José Berríos (elbow), while Tigers lack Tarik Skubal (elbow surgery) and Casey Mize (adductor). Detroit holds home-field edge, but trader consensus reflects uncertainty in this evenly matched interleague tilt amid ongoing roster health challenges.
