Cobreloa and Santiago Wanderers currently sit atop the 2026 Liga de Ascenso table after roughly 18 matches, separated by just one point with strong goal differences, yet the race remains wide open due to the league's playoff format for promotion and the tight clustering of mid-table sides. Recent results have featured draws and narrow outcomes among contenders including San Marcos de Arica, Deportes Puerto Montt, Magallanes, and Deportes Antofagasta, while teams like Recoleta, Rangers, and Curicó Unido maintain realistic paths through improved form or head-to-head advantages. With over half the campaign remaining, schedule difficulty, home/away splits, and potential late surges keep implied probabilities closely bunched across the field.
