The Bulgarian efbet Liga enters the 2026-27 campaign with an unusually open race for second place after Levski Sofia claimed the 2025-26 title and ended Ludogorets Razgrad’s long streak of dominance. Early match results show Levski, Ludogorets, CSKA Sofia, and CSKA 1948 all posting strong starts, while mid-table sides such as Cherno More, Arda, and the Plovdiv clubs maintain solid recent form and squad continuity. Historical title contention among Sofia’s big clubs, combined with limited transfer-window reinforcement at most teams and the league’s split-group format, keeps implied probabilities tightly clustered. Traders therefore price nearly a dozen clubs with comparable upside for runner-up based on current standings momentum and head-to-head patterns rather than any single standout favorite.
