This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the champion of the J2 League for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of J2 League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of J2 League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the J2 League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026–27 J2 League campaign opened in a new August-to-May format featuring 20 clubs, including three sides freshly relegated from J1 (Yokohama FC, Shonan Bellmare, Albirex Niigata) and three promoted from J3 (Tochigi City, Vanraure Hachinohe, Tegevajaro Miyazaki). Early matchweeks have produced a tightly bunched table, with several clubs posting perfect or near-perfect starts that keep promotion and title contention wide open. This parity, combined with the absence of a clear pre-season standout and the double round-robin structure, has translated into the market pricing a broad group of contenders at nearly identical implied probabilities. Historical patterns in J2 show that squad depth, home form, and mid-season reinforcements often decide the outcome in such balanced fields rather than any single dominant force.
