The 2026–27 NB I campaign opened in late July with defending champions Győri ETO FC posting strong early results, yet the runner-up market remains tightly bunched because the title race itself is expected to feature Ferencvárosi TC as the dominant side. Multiple clubs enter with comparable squad depth, recent promotion momentum, or European experience, leaving traders to price in a broad field rather than a single standout challenger. Early matchweeks have produced mixed outcomes across the table, with no sustained form or injury narrative yet separating the group, while historical patterns show several sides capable of finishing second in a Ferencváros-led season. This uncertainty sustains the narrow implied probabilities across the listed contenders.
