The United States leads the seeding with Fabiano Caruana and Wesley So at the top but without Hikaru Nakamura, India defends its 2024 double-gold form behind Arjun Erigaisi and world champion Gukesh Dommaraju, and host Uzbekistan fields Javokhir Sindarov and Nodirbek Abdusattorov with clear home motivation. Early rounds show all favorites securing expected match points without major upsets or roster issues, preserving the tight trader consensus around these three while lower seeds remain long shots.
